We have prepared a Detailed Editorial Policy to describe to you how Pure Know How gathers and reports the content found on our website and in our e-communications and the relationship between Pure Know How and its Pure Partners.
 

Content Development

Content found in our weekly e-bulletin and on our website have gone through a content development process to make sure the information is up-to-date, as accurate as possible and presented in a tone and style useful to our subscribers.
 

Pure Know How e-Bulletin

Format of the e-bulletin is based on facts about a specific topic. The weekly e-bulletin is not original research or reporting. It reference and links to research and reports that have already been developed. We offer opinions and share experiences related to these topics.

Topics for the weekly e-bulletin are selected by Patti and Tamey, the Founders of Pure Know How, Inc. They consider their own curiosity, the time of year, current news items and interests of their audience. Feedback and ideas from subscribers are taken into account for future topics.

Values are important to us. In order to produce weekly e-bulletin with the greatest use for our subscribers, we look to ensure:

Sources for the information found in our weekly e-bulletin are obtained from a variety of content providers. These content providers may include government agencies, not-for-profit advocacy groups, medical/environmental publishers, consultations with experts/professionals in the field and for-profit companies that provide health news and information. We review the content from these sources for timeliness, accuracy, completeness and credibility.

Our opinions and experiences provide personal relevance to issues and we consider this to be an important feature. Everyday women talking to everyday woman. Use these as you will.

Your opinions and experiences are important to us and we want to hear about them (you had to listen to ours!). We will share those that may be of interest to other subscribers in our "Be a Tipster" section.

Comments on the e-bulletin format and possible suggestions for improvements or corrections are also welcome. If, after being reviewed by the founders and found relevant, the changes that improve clarity or accuracy will be made.

Control of all content provided in the e-bulletin is retained by us at Pure Know How Inc. Pure Partners do not control the topic selection or content development, nor influence our opinions or experiences with any products or services we mention.
 

Pure Know How website

Format of the website provides a platform for the e-bulletin, links to resources and sources, a place to connect with each other and space for Pure Partners.

Website design is based on easy navigation and logical formatting. (Patti is the resident "test dummy" for technical un-know how!) We want to bring you an up-to-date site which is not overloaded with too much technical do-dads to take away from the content.

Review of website content is regular to ensure that it remains relevant. Where necessary, web content found to be incorrect or out-of-date is corrected, updated, or moved to an archive (where it remains available) or purged.

On-line resources are an important feature of the Pure Know How website. We select internet links, reports and other materials relevant to the topics presented in the weekly e-bulletin. These resources are found under the "Get More..." button on the Home page. These resources are selected at the time of researching topics and are not necessarily comprehensive. We make an effort to evaluate the credibility of these resources but do not take any responsibility for others on-line content. These links are provided for your information but are not intended to imply that we approve or recommend these entities to our subscribers. Every effort is made to verify that the information in these sources (websites, organizations, books, contact information) provided is up-to-date and accurate. Information tends to change and not all of it was necessary reviewed by Pure Know How.
