Comments: This guy likes his baths and has used colloidal oatmeal baths for dry skin for years. This product was as good as the other oatmeal bath products and does not contain any filler, like calcium silicate. An email response to an inquiry about the ingredients of this products stated "Our winter bath therapy is 100% pure colloidal oatmeal. It does not contain anything else". The only problem is he used it up too quickly - it was a cold February!

Comments: This is a good bubble bath ... why ... because it has bubbles! Mainstream bubble baths use detergent to give bubbles and these can dry and irritate skin. The smell from the essential oils is also heavenly - and makes me want to keep soaking. The only problem is I have run out and with us being in a cold snap; hot baths are a survival technique.

Comments: This Canadian company makes excellent products, and their handmade soaking bath products are right up where with the best. They are fragrant and soothing as the Epsom salts worked on my tired muscles (is there such a thing as too much yoga?) When I ordered this bath salt it came in a 515ml size - enough for 8-10 baths. On the website it only seems to be available in the sachets size which you can squeak 3 baths out of.
| Ingredients: Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate), coarse sea salt (sodium chloride), lavender (lavandula angustifolium), and peppermint (mentha piperita) essential oils, with lavender flowers (lavandula officinalis). |

Comments: First off I was taken in with the instructive
label that tells me after my bath to "wrap up in a warm blanket, sip
a hot cup of herbal tea and allow yourself to feel better". I don't
hear that too often ... The choices for the essential oils all relate to
easing various cold and flu symptoms - Ravensara for antiviral, marjoram
for headaches and sinusitis and lavender to sooth and relax. The scent of
eucalyptus is strong - but I liked it when I was feeling under the weather.
I have a few of these in the cupboard for another day when the cold bug
bites.

Rating (out of 5): 4.0
Comments: These little gems were the natural version of
those overly fizzy, overly fragrance bath bombs but they contain natural
ingredients and for added visual interest actual foliage. Mine had rose
petals - nice but not needed for me. Tamey said her flower and leaf bits
were a nice addition to her tub experience. Patti will stick to the Rocky
mountain bath salts

Tester: : Patti/Claire & Tamey/Ally
Rating (out of 5): 3.5
Comments: Claire wanted everyone to know that she liked this as it smelled good and made some bubbles. Ditto for mom but the bubbles come from some ingredients that are derivatives of coconut oil, which may cause skin irritations. They do not contain synthetic colors, fragrances or preservatives and are paraben free.
Ally and Tamey thought the product was good - it foamed and smelled good but when checking the ingredients - couldn't pronounce the coconut derivative and wondered about them.

Brand Name: Hairy Kids
Product Name: Body Wash / Bubble Bath
Cost: $3.49 for 75 ml / 2.5 oz packet
Where did we get it? Where have we seen it?: Natural health food store
Tester: Patti/Claire & Tamey/Kids
Rating (out of 5): 4.0
Comments: This cheeky company with cheeky name - actually hairy name - was started by 2 West Coast moms who wanted to make safer products for their kids. They use mainly natural plant based ingredients and the Unscented line was developed for those with special sensitivities, or for those who just want an all natural fragrance/scent free alternative
The lemonade body wash/bubble bath was fresh scented and did bubble. Ally
got to try the tropical body wash/bubble bath and she liked its fruity smell.
The only issue is the cost - a great product takes quality ingredients but
the cost may prohibit some from giving up their cheaper mainstream bubble
bath for much less.

Rating (out of 5): 4.5
Comments: This bath oil comes in a spray pump - which
is actually quite a good idea. You can squirt it on you while soaking in
the tub. Great for spot spraying - you know those tough rough knee and elbow
dry spots.

Rating (out of 5): 4.5
Comments: Patti is new to bath oils and is sold on them,
especially for this time of year. Baths are relaxing on their own but adding
this slippery oil with its subtle scent is heavenly. When I shave I use
it after to moisturize and soften and because the oils are plant-based-
they won't block pore and are helpful to skin.
