Comments: I like many things about this concealer - it
conceals, comes in an easy to apply tube and is on the more affordable side.
With the naturally darker skin around my eyes, I need coverage and Ecco
Bella delivers. It's creamy but does not seem to gather in my eye crinkles.
Since I do not use foundation, it blends well with skin tone and I then
set and matte with a loose powder. Careful when you twist the tube to bring
the concealer up - as I broke the tube off at its base but have plunked
it back in and continue to use it - albeit more gently.
Interesting to note is when I first started looking for chemical free, and
particularly parabens-free cosmetics, I checked out Ecco Bella and their
concealers had parabens. When I recently purchased this concealer, parabens
were NOT on ingredient list. Could this be a response to consumer demand?

Comments: In my search for a great natural concealer, I
tried Dr. H. I am a faithful user of their skin care products and this was
my first try with the cosmetic line. It was pretty good. The applicator
is cool - it is a sponge tip that soaks up the concealer when twisted and
thus a smooth "pat-able" finish. The real barrier for this product
is the cost for the amount in the container. It seemed to be gone before
I knew it - that could be the way I apply and the amount of coverage needed.
If you are looking for a quality product and don't need to use a lot - try
it. Tamey loves it!

Comments: This is the first and only "toxin free"
concealer I have used. I had a rocky start trying to get the concealer out
of the tube, but once accomplished I was very pleased with the results.
It goes on smoothly and blends in nicely with my skin - now I must admit
that there were days (after one of the kids had a bad night) that I needed
to apply a double coat, but thankfully that was not everyday!

Brand Name: Lavera Naturkosmetik
Product Name: Ultimate Concealer
Cost: $ Can't remember. (10oz.)
Where did we get it? Where have we seen it?: Spa
Tester: Patti
Rating (out of 5): 2.0
Comments: Lavera has some great natural cosmetics but I
wouldn't say their concealer is one of them. It just did not seem to provide
coverage and it tended to cake and form in creases under my eye (I think
those creases might be wrinkles but let's keep that between you and I!).
It is too transparent to cover the dark circles inside and under eyes.

Brand Name: Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics
Product Name: Liquid Concealer - Medium
Cost: $ Can't remember. (6.5 ml)
Where did we get it? Where have we seen it?: Natural health food store
Tester: Patti
Rating (out of 5): 2.0
Comments: This was the first cosmetic product I bought
a few years ago when I was looking for natural ingredients. The valuable
lesson I learned is about "reading the labels". Youngblood Cosmetics
are based on natural minerals and pigments. I thought they would be "natural"
and yes, some of their ingredients are not synthetic but they also add some
nasty preservatives like BHT, parabens and some other ingredients that I
want to avoid (dimethicone). So, although a product may be in a high end
spa and positioned to be pure and natural - read the label to make sure
you are happy with the ingredients.
